He assists software companies in identifying "A Players" across the Health Information Systems/Technology (HIS) landscape. This includes specialties such as EMR, Payor, ePrescribe, EHR, Revenue Cycle, Billing, Coding, Medical Necessity and Compliance, ICD-9, Clinical Decision Support, Clinical Management, Patient Information Management, Revenue Cycle Management, ED, Perioperative, Acute Care, IDN, Physician Groups, EDMS, EDM, Health Information Management Systems (HIMS), and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
In 1999, he began as a technical recruiter in the Telecommunications industry recruiting for competitive local exchange carriers (CLEC's), network providers, and dot-com companies. In 2000, he put his healthcare experience to work in Health Information Management Systems (HIMS) for 3M. From 1990 through 1998, he served as a private Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant to the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries and worked with healthcare providers and employers to assist injured workers back to work. At that time, he also served as an expert witness to the Assistant Attorney General.
